Tracey Curtis-Taylor
Tracey’s work is in
oils on canvas and predominantly large format ranging from still
life to landscapes. She describes her work as ‘expressive
realism’ where subject matter is loosely rendered and then
developed by building up layers of colour to give the painting a
wonderful richness and texture.
“I hope my paintings
speak for themselves’’ says Tracey. She feels strongly that
paintings should look like paintings and not photographs and she
strives for depth and vitality in her work.
Tracey also collects
unusual gem material for her jewellery business ‘Rockpool’. Her
third passion is flying around East Anglia in her open cockpit
vintage aeroplane.
